An empirical study of software quality and security in real-world pull requests. Combining GitHub data, SonarQube static analysis, and statistical models, the thesis examines how code complexity and project context relate to maintainability and security issues. Its findings highlight the importance of evaluating both dimensions together, while distinguishing observed relationships from evidence of change over time.
